1960 Purchase of the covering mill and compression stocking manufacture
in CH-8637 Laupen/ZH. Integrated as the STRETCH division into
Salzmann AG.
1969 Moved into our own newly built factory in CH-8637 Laupen/ZH.
1975 The manufacture of compression stockings was taken out of
Salzmann STRETCH and production was continued by the
independent division Salzmann MESH.
1984 An extension to the covering mill doubled the production area.
1987 We became one of the first companies in Europe to start production
of air interlaced elastic yarns.
1992 Opening of a production facility in Italy in order to be able to offer
yarns with EU origin.
1995 Opening of a joint venture production facility in Estonia
for covering yarns.
2001 Transfer of production from Italy to Estonia.
2002 Termination of the Joint Venture in Estonia.
Focus on our production in Switzerland with abt. 60 employees.
